The way to the Lord

Man is by nature and vocation a religious being.

Coming from God, going toward God, man lives a fully human life only if he freely lives by his bond with God.

Jesus was declared to be the Mighty God and Everlasting Father long before he was ever conceived in the womb of Mary. The Everlasting Father became the child and son born in the manger. Therefore Jesus truly is Immanuel, God with us. Jesus is Almighty God become a man.

There is no surer sign of Christ's divinity than 2000 years after His death people and demons still tremble at His name. Many shudder upon hearing His powerful name; there is no other name that has power like that of Jesus. The Bible attributes this phenomenon to the fact that Jesus is God.

His message is love, and as 1 John 4:8 tells us, God is love.

Although His message and His acts were selfless, His teaching focused on Himself. "Follow me;" "I am the light;" "I am the way the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me."

Christ claimed to be God. Even in the Bible, people asked,

"Who is Jesus?" "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered,

"Before Abraham was born, I AM!"

Who is Jesus Christ and what is His mission to the world?

This is certainly a logical question to ask. He changed the world in only 30 years on earth, and no one has had more of an impact on this planet than Jesus Christ. This is, after all, His planet.
